Part of the Low carbon Transport Fuels programme, Sheffield’s role is to develop policy surrounding the production of new low carbon fuels produced using electrochemical and bio-electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide. This is a multi-partner collaboration including the universities of Newcastle, Oxford, Surrey and South Wales. The deliverables on the project will be three policy White Papers and an end of project conference (subject to COVID-19 restrictions) or Zoom Conference. The project end date is 30 June 2021.
