The Styring Group welcomes back Dr George Dowson

In June, we welcome back George who was a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) on the highly successful UKRI-funded 4CU Programme Grant (EP/D038995/1). As part of that grant we developed a new carbon capture system and interfaced it to a plasma reactor to produce fuels. This is being developed further in the £10m UKRI Manufacturing Hub SUSTAIN (EP/S018107/1). The aim is to make iron and steel manufacturing more sustainable.
